Night Out - Miami

Everyone here sleeps quiet late so about 1am we went out to a bar. I forgot what the area was called but it was were the bar Coyote Ugly is - where the ladies dance on the bar. It was Monday night so no one around but we had an awesome time. The bar we were at was next to Denis Rodman's night club called Voo doo - that was closed. The bar scene well, what i saw of it - it similar to ours ofcourse same music! R&B Rap. Met alot of travellers like myself. Including, a nice looking boy named Jim. Jim is from Russia and his a snowboarder! Met also a young lady from Germany and another guy from New York. They were fun! But didnt' stay long enough to get to them better ;-) but got email addresses. It was a really nice time, the drink prices were pretty much the same back home too but you have to tip!

Star Sighting: Coyote Ugly film spot and maybe a guy that looked like prison break guy!
Funny/Weird Moment/s: Was a little drunk, yelled "Wat sup?" to some hommies and they followed me! - was scary but they just wanted to say hey "Wat sup?" back hehe

note to self: don't yell "Wat Sup?" to hommies when on my own.

South Beach -Miami

Wow, let me tell you that Miami in one word is "HOT"! The weather is hot!, hot cars, hot clothes, hot girls and boys with hot bodies! Woah lots of sexy ladies with long skinny tanned legs in short shorts! Maybe if i stay here long enough I'll get skinny tanned long looking legs too? :-) - prephas. Miami South Beach is a busy party place. Just think of a strip of restaurants - like Lygon street but with Espanic restaurants, on the edge of the beach like Fitzroy Street, surrounded by colourful art deco buildings and lots of hot people dancing all night! And it the mist of it all within the main Ocean Drive, siting on the corner, is Versace's house! Where he was apparently shot at the front! However, out of all days I happened to go to South beach, it was a rainy day again! Rained all day! But love it! South beach a colourful, decorative, fun, sexy, party city! Wish you guys could party with me! ;-) Did i mention Miami is full of palm trees?

Funny/Weird Moment: A strange man in a wheel chair gave me a rose made out of bamboo shoots.

Cruising Miami

Drove around in a sweet, fast silver Lexus today woo hoo! was so lovely to drive. I miss my little fast red Corolla.

The Mall

Had a good night sleep in today, woke up at 1:30pm! I'm still in Melbourne time mode. Woke up and watched TV my favourite show Full House!! oh and 'Step by Step'! Dude the Code-man! Went down to the local Mall today for a little browse. Nothing exciting really went to the department store Macy's and went to Gap. Bought a gap t-shirt from the REDS brand which supports AIDS in africa foundation. Lots of short shorts this summer, almost like bum huggers! Today was very hot, cloudy but hot. It's like the dessert here or Melbourne prephas - during our summer - it's all hot during the day and as soon as the sun goes down, the thunder-storms starts and rains!

Introducing the family

I'm currently staying at Fort Lauderdale which is an hour away from Downtown Miami. Actually the suburb is called Tamarac. I'm in a street called Catalina Place and it's just full of town houses. In front of each town house, there are at least four cars parked in front of the garage! The whole street looks like a car yard or somebody is having a massive party!!
I'm staying with my mum's best friend Tina and her family. Her two sons Tony and Noland and her husband. As well as, Tony's finace Mott.

Welcome to the Sunshine State - Miami

Monday the 9th of April. Headed off to Sea World in Orlando today! Long drive - about 2-3 hrs away from Fort Lauderdale (where im staying). Was quiet tired today slept the whole way!! But there are so many palm tress here, all sorts of palm trees. Well, Florida being the 'Sunshine State' well, it wasn't today!! It rained all day! Watched all the big Sea World shows like the dolphins, sea lions and saw 'Shambu' the whale - Free Willy! The shows were awesome :-) thats what they say here. Besides the cold it was good fun. The Food here comes in mass!! Breakfast was Burger King, lunch a turkey sandwhich and dinner homemade udon noodles!

Star sighting: None. Oh wait Shambu the Killer Whale from Free Willy :-)

Sweet Escape begins...

My journey begins here.. flew out of Melbourne this morning 10.25am. My plane however, was delayed by 45mins becuase air conditioning problems argh! Was a nice flight though, window seat, and yes, I was sitting next to an older lady who was quiet lovely. Would've been better if it was a gorgeous guy but Helen - the lady's name - was sweet. My first star sighting though was the guy from KENNY and his brother!! flying on the same QF093 flight! Oh and the comedian guys from the group called Tri-pod were also on the plane!

Arrive in LAX (Los Angeles) 7:14 Sunday morning California time which was about 2:14am Melbourne time. I saw Lindsey Lohan!! She looks exactly the same as she does in magazines! Just normal not too skinny either. Real stuck up though. But I was soo star struck though. I also saw Lisa Kudrow! Phoebe from friends!! she too looks the same!
Now I'm in Miami arrived 7.22pm Sunday the 8th! And ready for a good night sleep.
