Wow, headed to Barcelona in September was awesome! The weather was great and people are great and cool and the hostel I was staying at was pretty cool too!!
Well, started my day walking around the main city streets trying to find my hostel! Was quiet easy to get around well, a shuttle bus from the airport to center of town took 30
mins perhaps. Hostel Centric Point was in a great location too!! Stayed in a 6 bed room. There I met my fellow travel partners for Barcelona! Two sweet French girls - Emeline and Claudia. Emeline 23 and Claudia 24. They're both good friends on a one week holiday from work in France.

I was only in Barcelona for 4 days so, my first night out -Emeline, Claudia and I went out for dinner at a nice restaurant. I had a really funny dish too! Thought I was getting noodles and cuttle fish well,
thats what i got but like 3 pieces of chopped cuttle-fish and purple stained noodles that look horrible to eat but was fine! Then we went out to a little bar called the Princess and had
serveral Mojitos each!! and made friends with the barmen! Even scored a free drink!!

We did all the tourist stuff during the day. Walk down La
Ramalas did some shopping. The food markets here are amazing the presentation itself is impressive. We also had a fiesta!! Nap time was great cause the weather was really nice - cause we walk all day and sight seeing we had nap everyday! The next night we met
Nefer Lopez - an
American guy from San Diego and the two New
Zealanders Tim and Mark. We went for dinner again to another
restaurant cause it was Tim and Mark's last night in Barcelona. This time we ordered Chicken and we definitely just go a leg of chicken at that was it! The funny thing was Mark order
tomato soup and yes he got
tomatoe soup but COLD
tomatoes soup!!
hehehe was funny. Then we went out for drinks again at the Princess and drank until we couldn't drink anymore. Was a fun night.

There was a fesitval the weekend I stayed so, the city was pumping!! there were lots of little free concerts that all the young teenagers turned up too and was nice to see how lively the city was. My last night the girls, Nefer and I went to watch the rugby match between the French and Ireland at a Irish pub. The French won, and we head to the main center had a beer and listen to the bands play.
Barcelona was really fun city, glad a met nice people to spend it with! its a must visit city!! The food is great - as long as you know what your getting, the people are cool, the atmosphere is amazing! And the Mojitos - well, couldn't really get enough of it and it's a pretty much a girls drink though. I had a really nice time!
