Paris, France

Bonjour! I'm in Paris!! I'm on holidays from work and I'm in Paris for the week!! I'm staying at a friends place, Sandra, who use to work with me at Esprit in London - she moved back to Paris for good. I came over by bus - it was the cheapest way to get here it was 45 pounds return (approx. $105!!) It was an 8 hour bus drive overnight from London. We ported on a ferry and had two hours on a ferry. It was actually quiet nice it had restaurants and bars. I'm trying to learn French, some of the words and meanings are same just with a different accent but sounds great! I'm watching Simpsons in French at the moment and Marge she sounds horrible!! hahaha but Bart sounds the same weird aye!

Well, my first day in Paris Sandra and her friend Angelina took me to a flea market and to the Eiffel Tower was a great day!! We had french Crepes (Crepe with Nutella is very popular here). It's nice to have a french tour guide because people in France don't speak English!! They're are also quiet rude in the Paris, it's true!!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

My now song that I listen to all the time makes me happy! And glad that I'm traveling. If you haven't figure out where you've heard this song; it's from 50 First Dates and the end of the movie. Hope you love it as much as me cheers

My Update

Well, its July and I've got 2 more months in London and so far it's been great with ups' and downs'. I'm currently living in a place called Eailing Boardway with some Polish people and a 2 bedroom victoria apartment. My roomate Izabelle share a room and two other couples occupy the other two rooms. There's Radeck and girlfriend Barbara and Michael and girlfriend Paulina - Radeck and Michael are brothers. I'm learning polish at the house which is cool and learning about polish food too!! they have so much polish food hehehe. I've also been watching movies with polish subtitles and thats how I'm learning too.

Besides the house work has been busy too. We're just ending the summer sale and the staff is changing all the people I've started work with have left and there are all new crew on now, and I miss everyone I became close with and now I have to start all over again! but it's fun meeting new people. Having friends from different European countries is great when I travel to their country ;-)

Trying to see more of London and outside of London before I leave but in the meantime happy to be in London hanging out with my friends before they all leave one by one.

More BBQ Photos

Pictures are of the night we had BBQ. Theres Fran, Becks and Kath who live in the Fulham house and there's me!

BBQ 2

We had a BBQ at the Fulham house, where Fran lives. It was a very lovely dinner we sat outside surrounded by fairy lights and nice weather! Fran and Becks prepared everything for out wonderful meal. We had marinated chicken wings and drumsticks as well as a piece of steak each, served with pasta salad and roasted pumpkin, mushrooms and potatoes salad. It was delicious Fran and Becks did an awesome job as always. With desert with roasted marshmallows over our BBQ bon-fire. It was a fun night with the weather being great too! There was a beautiful sunset, that is not usually seen very often during a London summer. We ended the night with a relaxing time watching 'Almost Famous' on DVD.

The Parks

On a semi hot London summer day, everyone heads down to their local PARK, instead of the beach. Parks here are very big and very green which are everywhere in London. People pack their little picnics and head to the park with a soccer ball and/or even a volleyball net, and they lay there sunbaking even in their BIKINIS! wow! it's crazy i know but thats how they get their sun tan. I went to my local park which is Eailing boardway park with my roommate Izabelle.

Brighton, United Kingdom

Saturday 7th of July
Went down south of London to a placed calle and Becks for the day via train was like td Brighton, which is about an hour out of central London. Went down with Fran and Becks was like taking the trip down to Torque for the day but not as good as Torque ofcourse but nice.

A little town that has the beach, which has the highest gay residency. Was a wonderful day bit windy but nice to get out of central London and see some other country like towns in the UK. Did a little shopping, ate fish saw some rocks!! the beach is covered with pebbles or rocks instead of sand!! but people still sunbaked lying on top of hard pebbles.
